These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the KARIGHAR platform for finding and booking home and business services. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions are a plain-language placeholder prepared for the KARIGHAR platform. Please have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you rely on them publicly.

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KARIGHAR website, application and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

KARIGHAR ("KARIGHAR", "we", "us" or "our") operates a technology marketplace based in Karachi, Pakistan that connects customers with independent professionals and registered service businesses for home and business services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Your Account

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use. Do not create an account using someone else's identity without authority.

4. Our Role — a Marketplace, Not the Service Provider

KARIGHAR provides technology to help customers discover, book and communicate with professionals and businesses. We are not a party to the agreement for the actual service between a customer and a provider, and unless we expressly state otherwise we do not employ professionals or control independent service businesses.

Providers are independent. The service contract for any job is directly between the customer and the professional or business who performs it. KARIGHAR does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, timing or outcome of any service.

5. Bookings, Pricing and Payment

• Fixed-price services show an upfront price before you book. The final amount may change if the actual work differs from what was described.
• For custom jobs, professionals or businesses may provide a quote after assessing the work.
• Payment is typically made in cash on completion, directly to the provider, unless an online payment option is offered.
• You are responsible for paying the agreed amount for services you request and receive.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel a booking through the Platform where cancellation is available. Repeated no-shows, last-minute cancellations or abusive behaviour may lead to restrictions on your account. Providers may also decline or cancel jobs they cannot perform.

7. Professional and Business Obligations

If you use the Platform as a professional or business, you agree to:

• provide accurate information about your identity, skills, services and service areas;
• hold any licences, permissions or qualifications required for the work you offer;
• perform services safely, lawfully, professionally and as agreed with the customer;
• honour the prices and quotes you present, and communicate clearly with customers;
• comply with all applicable laws, taxes and regulations relating to your work.

8. Customer Obligations

As a customer, you agree to provide accurate job details and address, give safe and reasonable access for the work, treat providers respectfully, and pay the agreed amount for services you receive.

9. Ratings and Reviews

Ratings and reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free of unlawful, abusive or misleading content. We may moderate, remove or withhold reviews that breach these Terms, and we may use ratings to help maintain quality on the Platform.

10. Verification and Due Diligence

We may verify certain information about professionals and display a verification indicator, but we do not independently verify every detail provided by users. Verification is not an endorsement or guarantee. Each user is responsible for their own checks and decisions before proceeding with a job.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Platform to:

• provide false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate others;
• harass, threaten, deceive or harm other users;
• arrange payments off-platform to avoid fees where a fee applies, or otherwise circumvent the Platform;
• scrape, copy or extract data, or reverse engineer the Platform, except as permitted by law;
• interfere with the security or operation of the Platform, or introduce malicious code;
• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.

12. Fees

Using the Platform as a customer may be free. Professionals or businesses may be charged a commission or subscription for certain features. Any applicable fees, commissions or plans will be shown before you incur them, and may change with reasonable notice for future periods.

13. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a booking will result in a completed job, or that any provider or customer will meet your expectations. Matches, rankings and suggestions are informational only and are not professional advice or an endorsement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KARIGHAR is not liable for the acts, omissions, conduct or work of independent professionals, businesses or customers, or for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

15. Disputes Between Users

Disputes about a job (including quality, payment or damage) are primarily between the customer and the provider. We may, but are not obliged to, help facilitate a resolution. We encourage users to communicate respectfully and resolve issues in good faith.

16. Content and Intellectual Property

KARIGHAR and its logo, design and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. You keep ownership of content you submit (such as job details, messages and reviews), and you grant us a licence to host, display and use that content as reasonably needed to operate and improve the Platform.

17. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your use of the Platform.

18. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, create risk to other users or the Platform, or where required by law. Some provisions, by their nature, survive termination.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be available on the Platform with its last-updated date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi, Pakistan have jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
